Plastic mulches reduce adult and larval populations of Drosophila suzukii in fall-bearing raspberry

    Resource Description

Researchers evaluated the efficacy of three kinds of plastic mulches (black, white, and metallic) in managing the invasive spotted-wing drosophila (Drosophila suzukii) in fall-bearing raspberry fields. These mulches significantly reduced adult and larval D. suzukii populations compared to the grower standard, without affecting canopy temperature or relative humidity.
