Evaluating combinations of bioinsecticides and adjuvants for managing Thrips tabaci (thysanoptera: Thripidae) in onion production systems

    Resource Description

Spinosad emerged as the most effective bioinsecticide in both studies, significantly reducing thrips densities and feeding damage, while also increasing total onion yield. Co-applications of spinosad with either neem oil or salts of fatty acids were more effective than with pinene polymers. However, Isaria fumosorosea Apopka strain 97 and the premix of azadirachtin + pyrethrins did not control thrips effectively.
